The Olympic-size track at Dean A. Hayes Stadium has been certified by United States Track and Field Association and was the host site of the 2000 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships and the 2016 Conference USA Outdoor Championships.
The running surface features eight lanes measuring 42 inches each, which allows ample space for each competitor without feeling closed in by other runners. The infield features a long jump and triple jump runways, a pole vault runway, high jump area, shot put area and a discus cage.

Admission is $10 per day. Children five years of age and older must purchase a ticket. TSSAA Championship Event Cards and TACA cards will be accepted for admission. The TSSAA ID card and TMSAA ID card are NOT accepted for admission.
Re-entry Notice: Hand stamps received when purchasing a ticket will be honored at all Spring Fling venues for the rest of the day. Ask to receive a fresh hand stamp before leaving a venue if the stamp has faded. Ticket stubs will NOT be accepted for re-entry.
Parking is $5 per day. Patrons will receive a parking pass that will be accepted at all Spring Fling venues for the rest of the day.
Coaches must wear their TSSAA-provided credential or pay admission. Only coaches recognized by the member school and TSSAA will be provided credentials. Coaches will sign in participants at each venue. At team events, participants will be admitted as a team only. Hand stamps will be given to allow participants to visit other sites without charge. Wristbands will be provided to track and field athletes for access to the stadium and warmup areas.
Pets are not permitted at any Spring Fling venue.
Smoking is not permitted at any Spring Fling venue, including the use of e-cigarettes.
Coolers are not permitted inside the facility.
Dean A. Hayes Stadium is handicap accessible.
Concessions are available for purchase inside the facility.
