Murphy Center

Opened in 1972, the Charles M. Murphy Athletic Center serves as home of the Middle Tennessee State men's and women's basketball teams, who play their home games in the 11,520 seat Monte Hale Arena. Murphy Center has hosted TSSAA state basketball tournaments since 1973.

During its 48-year existence, Murphy Center has staged countless concerts for some of the world's most renowned artists, including Elvis Presley, Elton John, Kiss and three consecutive sold-out performances by multi-platinum country music sensation Garth Brooks.

Girls': March 12-15, 2025
Boys': March 19-22, 2025

Admission

General Admission
$12 per day if purchased in advance online through GoFan.
(GoFan tickets will be redeemed at Gate E-6. Please have your ticket(s) pulled up on your mobile device prior to arrival.)

$15 per day if purchased with cash at the gate (Gate E-4).

School-age children and older are required to have a ticket.

TACA cards will be honored when presented with a matching photo ID at the pass gate (Gate E-2).
TSSAA ID cards and TMSAA ID cards will NOT be accepted for admission.

School administrators who are registered on the TSSAA Portal can sign-in for free admission at the pass gate (Gate E-2).

Parking

Parking is $5 per day near Murphy Center in the large parking lot on Greenland Drive. Parking in the Greenlot Lot is limited, so spectators should plan accordingly. If the lot is full, the MTSU Livestock Center Parking Lot is available for overflow parking. The lot is on the right after going through the light at Champions Way. (See Map)

If the MTSU Livestock Center Parking Lot is full, the MTSU Lot on the corner of Rutherford Blvd. and MTSU Blvd. can be used. (See Map) Spectators who park in the MTSU Lot can utlize the MTSU campus bus system. The Red Route is the bus that serves the MTSU Lot on a loop. This bus will bring spectators to the KOM Building which is near the football scoreboard. The MTSU Mobile App can be downloaded for a live look at the buses running and the stops (select Maps tab, then under Settings, select "Red Route").

Handicap Accessibility

Murphy Center is handicap accessible via the loading dock on the east side of the arena. Parking is available in the Greenland Dr. lot for vehicles displaying valid handicap placards.

Concessions/Dining

Food and drink will be available for purchase at Murphy Center. No outside food or drink will be allowed.
