    • Consecutive State Titles—4 (#1 State)
    • Most State Championships for a coach—8 (#1 State)

  • Coach Insell collected his 700th career win on January 10, 2003
  • He has received over 25 Coach of the Year Awards in the state of Tennessee
  • He currently ranks #19 Nationally for most wins all-time; #6 Nationally for most wins among active coaches
  • He is currently #5 on the state list for most wins all-time
  • At one point, Coach Insell served as the assistant boys’ basketball coach, girls’ varsity basketball coach, boys’ and girls’ freshman basketball coach, varsity track & field coach, and varsity tennis coach
  • Currently serves as the head women’s basketball coach at Middle Tennessee State University
  • Inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame in 2007
