TSSAA track and field official for more than 30 years
Began career as a teacher and coach in 1970
Coached boys’ and girls’ cross country, boys’ and girls’ track and field, and football at West High School in Knoxville
Coached football, girls basketball, and track at Bearden Jr. High and High School
Served as an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Halls High School, before becoming Principal in 2003
Retired in 2005
Member of the TSSAA Track and Field committee

Head starter for district and regional track meets in East Tennessee
