  • Principal at Germantown High School for 28 years

  • Served as the Chairman of Shelby Co. Schools Principal’s Association for 28 years

  • TSSAA Distinguished Service Award in 1995

  • TSSAA District Administrator of the Year in 2001

  • Retired from Shelby Co. School System in 2002

  • Elected and served on the Shelby Co. Board of Education until 2013
