      • Partnered with the Gallatin Rotary Club in 1964 to honor the Top 30 graduating seniors at an annual banquet
      • Under his leadership, Gallatin High School won five TSSAA State Championships (3 Football, 1 Boys Basketball, 1 Girls Basketball)
      • President of Lincoln County Education Association
      • President of Sumner County Education Association
      • President of Middle Tennessee Education Association
      • Chairman of Middle Tennessee Principal’s Study Council
      • Representative on the National Foreign Policy Leadership Council/Secondary Education in Washington, D. C.  He was selected by then Governor Lamar Alexander
      • Received a TSSAA Distinguished Service Award
      • During his tenure, Gallatin High School was recognized as one of the Top Five High Schools in the state
