  • Selected as one of 66 top High School principals in the United States and Canada in 1976
  • Served on small school committee of National Association of Secondary School Principals
  • Fellow TSSAA Hall of Fame member Milton Mayo was quoted as saying; “Education always came before athletics to Wylie.  He was a very capable and popular teacher and his players have made first-class citizens.  He served very well in every position in the Milan School System”.
