  • Coached first black athlete in the Southeastern Conference (Perry Wallace—1965 Pearl H. S. Team)
  • Coach Ridley’s 1966 Pearl High School squad won the first integrated State basketball tournament
  • Coach Ridley’s Whites Creek squad was rated Number 1 in the nation for a part of the season (1991)
