  • Officiated the 1986 NCAA Division III National Championship at the Stagg Bowl
  • Past President of Ohio Valley Conference Football Officials’ Association
  • Played football on collegiate level at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee
  • Played professional baseball in Pittsburgh Pirate organization in Dothan, Alabama
  • Served as a member on the Jackson City Council for 10 years
  • Served a 10-year term on the Madison County Commission
