  • His overall record of 127 – 78 is deceiving, because it does not reflect the outstanding rebuilding efforts he successfully undertook
  • Coach Derrick will be remembered for taking three different schools to the playoffs
  • Retired in 1995, but has continued to assist in coaching at Battle Ground Academy, Father Ryan, St. Bernard’s Prep, Lawrence County High, and William James Middle School
