  •  Head girls’ basketball coach at Oak Ridge High School for 31 seasons

  • Third-winningest girls’ basketball coach in TSSAA history with 908 wins

  • Ranked 11th nationally for wins in girls’ basketball; 44th nationally for both boys and girls

  • Made 21 TSSAA State Tournament appearances

  • TSSAA State Runner-up 5 times

  • Won three TSSAA State Championships

  • Won numerous district and region championships

  • Over 50 of her players received college scholarships

  • Won numerous State Coach of the Year honors and TSSAA Distinguished Service Awards

  • Oak Ridge Sports Hall of Fame (1997)

  • Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame (2002)

  • Coached a USA Basketball team, and led her team to a bronze medal in the World Youth Games in Moscow in 1998

  • Retired from coaching in 2010

  • Physical Education instructor at Robertsville Middle School in Oak Ridge
