  • Set an all-time defensive record, holding 9 teams scoreless
  • Designed basketball and football uniforms, and his polka dots made the Sports Illustrated in 1960
  • Member of first Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) committee for Davidson County, serving as Chairman for two years
