  • Among top ten coaches in Tennessee for number of wins
  • Compiled record of 944 wins and 339 losses in his career (Varsity and Freshman combined)
  • In 1979 his six-player team reached the TSSAA Class AAA State Tournament in the final year of that type of play—his Lebanon Blue Devilettes were the only team that returned in 1980 in five-player format
  • Named The Tennessean Midstate Coach of the Year 5 times
  • Legendary Women’s basketball coach Pat Summitt said of Coach Brandon, “At the time I went into coaching (1973), I had as much respect for Campbell as anyone in the game.  He was a legend.  I had tremendous respect for him.  I still do.”
